I promise I'll get back to posting real posts again soon, but right now I've had a lot of things for school all happening at once. So, once again, this will be brief. We got 10 inches of snow over the weekend and when I went to get gas today there was the most perfect snowflake hanging out on the gas pump. I almost thought it was fake, it was so perfectly shaped. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it but the only picture-taking thing I had on me was my dumb phone which takes really crappy pictures. Oh well. I'll leave you with a picture from just over a year ago that is in the same wintry theme.
If you look in my blog from just over a year ago, you'll find a very similar picture taken on the same day. If I find the time I'll try to get some pictures of this new snow before it melts. Winter pictures can be so beautiful!

School Updates
I changed my major at school, but only slightly. What started out as a year-long certificate for Bookkeeping has now been changed to a two year degree in Accounting.
I know I stated in a previous post that I didn't think Accounting was for me; part of me is still not sure, but I have come to the realization that I can either,
A. Get a degree that will help me get a decent-paying job so I can afford to have kids on my own.
- or -
B. Pursue a career I'm passionate about (Archaeology, Arts, Crafts) and forget about having kids.
I wish it weren't a choice between career or kids but obviously I wouldn't still be blogging here if I had chosen option B. Though sometimes I wonder if having a husband would allow me to choose both.
Anyway, Accounting isn't all bad and it makes sense job-wise. The real downside is that I'll likely have to go on for a Bachelors. At this point I could actually get my Masters in Archaeology and be halfway through my PhD before I earn this second Bachelors. But more on that timeline (and the slowly gelling TTC timeline) in another post.
